Charles and Suzie Randall emigrated from the UK to Spain after renovating their farm, Huerta Salazar, The dream of the “good life” getting away from the rat race pulled them to an area in Spain where they had previously spent many family holidays;

More Info

The farm is Organic and they now grow olives, most citrus fruits, figs, avocado’s, plums, peaches, nectarines, cherries and more, following ecological farming methods and licensed by the Comite Andaluz de Agricultura Ecologica. To supplement the income by providing top quality holiday accommodation Charles and Suzie renovated an old stables and a shepherd’s cottage located on the farm and provide a warm welcome to their guests wishing to share the peace and tranquillity of the rural Andalusian setting. Additionally they have renovated a Finca located around 10 km from the farm in the hills for those looking for complete peace and tranquillity. When making the choices for their lifestyle and the renovation of the farm and its building it was important to both Charles and Suzie that all decisions were made for environmental and sustainable reasons, their love of nature supplemented by the organic farming methods employed.

It was 10 years before the dream life became a reality when staying at a Farm Bed and Breakfast at Checkendon nr Reading when Charles and Suzie first came across a Bio-Bubble waste water and sludge treatment plant. The proprietor’s enthusiasm for his environmentally friendly Bio-Bubble, that discharged all the treated waste water into his Pond stocked with valuable Coy Carp, was infectious. So Much so that Charles and Suzie chose to purchase 3 Bio-Bubbles for their new Spanish home and holiday lets.

Water is a particularly valuable resource in this region, and none of it is wasted, two Bio-Bubbles at Huerta Salazar discharge their water to storage facilities from where it is gravitated and pumped to where it is needed on the organic farm for irrigation. At Finca La Era located 10 km from Huerta Salazar up a dirt track nestled on the side of Santi Petri, the highest mountain near Almogia, the water is far more valuable, especially when you consider Charles and Suzie have to have all the water they need delivered by road tanker or a water bowser towed by their 4 x 4. The pretty gardens surrounding the Finca, a converted Chapel and School House, are kept beautiful using the recycled water from the Bio-Bubble.

Whatever your project and whatever your recycled waste water needs are: Bio-Bubble can provide a solution.
