Dream House | River Wey
We were delighted when the renowned architect Elspeth Beard recommended the Bio-Bubble as the preferred solution to treat the waste from Simon and Sharon Bleach’s new dream house.
The Bleaches acquired a beautiful plot in a tranquil setting on the banks of the River Wey, the existing listed building, an old Malt house, was to be quite a challenge by anybody’s standards bringing it up to a habitable condition whilst still satisfying the planner’s needs. When building your dream house many decisions are required daily which put pressure on most budgets. Simon and Sharon were adamant throughout that the waste from their new house would have the absolute minimum impact on the environment despite cheaper, less environmental solutions being available to them. We were further tasked to obtain, on their behalf, an Environmental Permit, and as we were required to discharge the final effluent via the river bank within a flood plain, we needed a consent for works affecting a watercourse. Once again we found it very easy to work with The Environment Agency during the relatively short determination process. For us it is a pleasure to work on such interesting projects due to the bespoke nature of the input required to develop the correct solution for the client.
