Conference Hall & Flat | Manor Barn
Clients of the specialist contractors, M J Abbott, required a plant that would be designed with great flexibility. Loadings from a single flat could be minimal and then to subsequently increase dramatically after having had a function in the converted Barn building. They needed treatment plant that would be able to cope with the wide variations in load as well as being able to be upgraded to take the potential future addition of the main 17 bedroom manor house.
Many package treatment plants are completely unsuitable for a feast or famine regime of the loading one would experience by this type of application unlike the Bio Bubble Advanced Aeration system that can easily accommodate such a varied loading, our Sleep Mode keeps the process biologically active and ready for the intermittent strong waste streams from a function, and Hibernates the bacteria during periods of low flow whilst maintaining good quality final effluent for discharge in this case to the River Till flowing through Winterbourne Stoke. The Civil installation did require the professional expertise of M J Abbott as a consequence of the high water table which was present on site and being adjacent to the River, due to this the site needed well pointing in order to de-water the immediate vicinity of the dig to enable installation of the concrete tanks within the driveway; the teamwork of all involved delivered a project the owner was pleased to pay for.
