Primary School | Hampshire
The need to replace a failing Septic Tank serving a Hampshire Primary School and private dwelling with a Waste Water Treatment Plant, led to the purchase of a
Bio-Bubble Waste Water and Sludge Treatment Plant.
As there was a need to move the treatment location onto land owned by the council, it meant that the new plant would be close to the school buildings, it was therefore imperative that there was little or no odour and that noise from the plant did not constitute a nuisance.
Commissioned in March 2010 the plant treats up to 6.4 m3 / day and consists of a pump chamber with rising main to a Balancing Tank & Reactor. The final effluent guaranteed under 12 mg/l BOD, 15 mg/l Suspended Solids & 2mg/l Ammonia can be met by the plant with ease and the absence of waste over lengthy school holidays does not present a problem for the Bio-Bubble due to its energy saving Sleep Mode.
