Private Fishing Lodge | Alresford

An exclusive new private residence nestled above a large private lake with its own remote Fishing Lodge needed a Bio-Bubble in order to provide waste water suitable for discharging back into the chalk downland stream which ultimately feeds into the River Arle. A larger Bio-Bubble for the main residence along with a smaller plant for the fishing lodge was due to the distance between the two buildings and was recommended to the client by specialist Civil Engineering Contractor M J Abbott who was tasked with providing the site wide utilities and landscaping. Janteine T Klein Roseboom of Imagination Design Ltd provided the inspiration for the overall design and Price and Myers provided structural engineering design.

The Fishing Lodge was designed to couple up as a covered boat mooring and storage facility for fishing tackle along with providing a comfortable spot for Angling, in season it can opened up to bring the outdoors in and be shut down out of season.
M J Abbott were tasked with rerouting the carrier stream which meant working very closely with the Environment Agency and Natural England who provided a team to relocate the native Crayfish during the changeover as the old carrier was drained.
Bio-Bubble’s Advanced Aeration process is renowned for feast or famine capability and as a process that is often the ‘plant of choice’ when it comes to a quality build providing a quality discharge standard.
